BORN IN LOUISIANA
I started MudCat Whiskers back in 2014, and what started as a passion for premium beard care quickly grew into something bigger.

I want to share the experiences of living in Southern Louisiana, the scents, stories, culture, and traditions. From the warmth of aged oak and bourbon to the fresh crisp aroma of cypress, every scent that I create is rooted in the places we call home.​
​
I believe the products that you use everyday should mean something. They should tell a story. They should remind you of home, a moment in time, and a place of comfort.​

I was raised in New Iberia, Louisiana, where life moves to the rhythm of family, hard work, good food, and deep-rooted tradition. Growing up in South Louisiana shaped who I am and taught me the value of community, craftsmanship, and taking pride in the things you build.
​
As a middle school teacher, I’ve always believed in pouring into others—whether it’s helping students discover what they’re capable of or encouraging the people around me to be the best version of themselves.
​
In 2015, I started MudCat Whiskers with a simple goal: to help men take better care of their beards while sharing my love for Cajun culture and the way of life that raised me. What began as beard oils and balms has grown into a full line of grooming products, shave essentials, and fragrances which are all crafted with the same care and pride that MudCat was built on.
But MudCat Whiskers has always been about more than grooming.

A portion of every sale helps support my school’s Robotics Program, giving students opportunities to create, build, and learn through hands-on technology. It also allows us to give back to local charities and causes that make a real difference in our communities.
​
Over the years, I’ve been blessed to host beard competitions across Louisiana raising thousands of dollars for organizations like the Acadiana Autism Society, the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home, and Children’s Cancer Research.

At the end of the day, MudCat Whiskers is about taking pride in who you are, where you come from, and how you show up in the world.
